At Great Estates, we take pride in transforming visions into reality. For the Ambler project, we partnered with the @archerbuchanan to create something truly spectacular.
Great Estates is honored to extend our support to @kellanfordfoundation, dedicated to the life of Kellan Ford who inspires us to choose happiness every day.
Today, we celebrate the Foundation’s recognition at the CCC Women`s Association’s 2023 Holiday Charity Luncheon, an event organized by our Marketing Director, Katie Hubbert. The Kellan Ford Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, strives to enhance the lives of children diagnosed with cancer while perpetuating Kellan`s enduring message of `choose happiness.` Diagnosed with a brain tumor in August 2020, Kellan bravely fought for 10 months before passing away at the tender age of 5. The foundation not only funds pediatric research grants but also collaborates with Children`s Hospitals of Philadelphia and the Integrative Oncology team. Together, they have created `Happiness Boxes` for at-home supportive therapies, comprising tools and educational videos to help children manage symptoms and treatment side effects. These efforts reflect our shared commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of these brave young warriors.

We recently invited Wolstenholme to tour the Kahn Korman Residence to detail both the profound design of Louis Kahn and the work completed by Great Estates over the years. This would be Louis Kahn`s final residential masterpiece. This six-bedroom house in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, blends structure, light, and materials harmoniously.

Great Estates was appointed to perform the construction and fit-out of the most coveted spaces of the building. The work being performed includes everything from framework to finishes of the striking two-story penthouse and roof terrace.
Great Estates faced many challenges working on the 26th and 27th stories of the building, working around the fit-out of multiple floors by others and base building construction. We worked closely with building management to coordinate each phase of the project and progress effectively.
At Great Estates, we specialize in crafting bespoke homes and executing comprehensive renovations, alongside managing significant owner`s rep projects. Our distinction in the industry stems from our collaborative ethos, which extends beyond our valued clients to include a network of esteemed architects, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors. United by a common vision, our team is committed to realizing a project`s objectives while surpassing client expectations in cost, quality, and timing. We take immense pride in not just meeting, but exceeding, our clients` aspirations, bringing the innovative visions of top-tier design professionals to life.

Designed by Louis Kahn, a world renowned Philadelphia architect, the Korman house encompasses all that is architecture. The Korman house details Kahn’s ability to create dramatic and dynamic spaces through the use of light and shadows. Kahn’s designs were extremely contextual, he believed architecture should be a reflection of the surrounding environment and that buildings should serve a higher purpose beyond their functional requirements. This would be his final residential project. A brilliant estate to be enjoyed for generations.
